My name is Asiyeh Keshavarz. I was born in 1984 in Iran. I graduated in Physics from a university in Tehran. In 2001, I entered the world of art and took private lessons in drawing with pencil, charcoal, pastel, and oil painting. Between 2006 and 2017, I stayed away from art; I remember that period as dark and silent years. In 2018, I began sculpting with clay and papier-mâché and took a course. I worked hard to improve myself. In 2021 and 2022, I held several exhibitions in Tehran. Since 2023, I have been living in the Netherlands due to my refugee procedure. I have also had several exhibitions in the Netherlands. Despite all the difficulties I have experienced over the years, I have tried to continue pursuing my art and to ensure that my work reflects what is happening in the world around me.
